Organized Chaos is a vanity project. We want to share what we listen to but in a way that extends past sharing a screenshot on our Instagram story. At Organized Chaos, we believe that relying on algorithms to personalize our music libraries strips away our freedom of choice. Access to a vast sea of content combined with convenience has made it easy to listen to a song with no regard for how it came into existence. Data-driven individualized playlists' have allowed us to forget the actual individual behind the music. We want our readers to gain a deeper appreciation for this medium from the artists' minds that create it. Using long-form interviews and artist-curated playlists, we hope to offer our audience insight into what inspires budding artists. In times of extended isolation, music acts as a means of connection but exploring the artistry behind it provides an extra dose of humanity that no algorithm can mimic.
