There's something special about the classic three-piece band. Ottawa bedroom-pop trio dad sports are masters of cranking out upbeat 2000's nostalgia records, and their latest single 'nvrs again' is no outlier. Last year, we discovered dad sports when they released 'name & place,' a sentimental soft alt-pop jam. We've been hooked on their electric romance sound that's etched throughout their catalog.

Arriving at the final product of 'nvrs again' was not an easy task. The band says over the past "few years, we re-wrote the song over and over and over until we were finally happy with it." The single arrives a month before the release of their debut EP I AM JUST A BOY LEAVE ME ALONE !!!. Expect to see the group tearing up the festival circuit post-pandemic.
